Sales guy and teamlead by day, Tech-nerd by night. Coming from a completely technical-perspective, I once changed to the "other side", always forging aspects from both sites to satisfy customers and their demands. Somewhere I belong!

A single moment turn into an amazing photo. One of my utter hobbies is to capture those moments, preferably by phone, camera or drone (depends on the specific situation and moment). These are just some samples of snatches of sunshine I'm proud of:
My interests are versatile and so am I. The following five key areas are the areas I feel comfortable on and where I can contribute most of my expertise to:
I love the field of Security and have a long-year experience with various strategic vendors like Fortinet, Sophos, Palo Alto Networks, Bitdefender, SentinelOne or Arctic Wolf. The span reaches from consulting, selling and even implementing solutions from the named vendors here.
Dealing with Open Source since 1998, I have a long-year Linux-experience with various distributions and software like Apache, Nginx, MySQL, PostgreSQL, PHP and Docker and a focus for the latter as well as products like Nextcloud or Fediverse-based applications.
Cloud is not always the best, but often part of a customer-specific solution and yes, it consists of other people's computers. Apart from that, Cloud deployments and thoughts on how to fulfill specific demands is part of my everyday-routine depending on the customer's wishes.
While hardware is not dead but surely not the best option for margin these days, the binding of customers is essential. Only with generating services for the customer and actively developing them, a lasting relationship between customer and service provider can be established.
Since nearly 20 years I am fan of Cupertino-based hardware and gained a specific experience over time in using and implementing macOS- or iOS-based devices in different environments. Besides my interest in Linux and Open Source, the Apple-microcosm is my second home.
